Are you using WordPress and having trouble displaying your global header menu when using Brizy builder? Then this blog is for you!
Please be noted that this blog is not being edited by Brizy for time being. However, when I first started to use WordPress, I tried multiple themes and I had an opportunity to use the Brizy plugin and had an issue with my global header menu not being displayed after being edited with Brizy. There were people like me who were seeking how to fix the problem but suggested methods on the threads were not the solution to solve the issue hence I am documenting the simple trick of how to fix this problem here.
What is Brizy?

Brizy is a top-notch website builder that makes it simple for users to edit web content on WordPress. WordPress comes with the Gutenberg block editor by default, which organizes words and pictures into blocks. Brizy is a plugin, therefore if you want to use it on WordPress, you’ll have to add it yourself.
How to display global header menu on Brizy
Just set your template to “default template,” excluding the Brizy template, is all that is required.
- We can do it directly from Brizy editor when we are editing a page and or post by switching the template to default and saving it, or
- We can go to Posts/Pages in the WordPress dashboard and change the template to default so that the global header menu originated from your theme will be applied even after editing with Brizy.
This is a fairly simple trick, but it can be confusing at first when using WordPress and new plugins because everything seems more sophisticated. I searched high and low for the answer, but I was unable to locate it until I unintentionally clicked those template options.

Don’t get confused with this menu…
By the way, this menu is a menu you can create with Brizy and has nothing to do with the global header menu originating from your chosen theme.
Personal review of using Brizy
As was already indicated, the default editor of Gutenberg is currently being used to edit this blog instead of Brizy. I tried using Brizy (free version) to edit my WordPress website content, and I was really enjoying it—until I discovered that the smaller-sized photographs became blurry after I published them. It is unclear if the issue has been resolved because I am no longer using Brizy, but it seemed to be one of the platform’s long-standing problems by the time I was using it. There may be a trick to fix this issue (or simply switching to the paid version may not have such an issue at all) but I could not find the solution while I was using it and going through extra work just to upload simple images is not my main focus of doing this blog. Because of this, I no longer use Brizy and continue to use the default editor; however, that is merely a side story to my blog.
But, Blocksy and Astra work like a charm for building websites in a really simple manner and feature a tonne of expertly built templates and blocks that you can use for free, even though Brizy may have some issues. It is definitely worth a go if you’re curious about how to change the design of your website with expert templates and aren’t a fan of the built-in WordPress editor.
